Our New Son

Wednesday night, my wife’s water broke at about 9:00 PM. We scrambled to get our kids different places and then got to the hospital at about 10:00. My wife was in labor all night and I was up all night.

My son was born at 5:49 in the morning. He was 7 weeks early, so when he was born they immediately whisked him away to the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit). We didn’t get to see him until about 9:30 AM. He is having trouble breathing and is still in the NICU and will be for some time. It was very hard to see him with all the tubes and wires attached to him.

We are very blessed to have him in our life and we have felt the power and blessings from the prayers of all our friends and family. Thank you.
