Dave,

As you heal, I am sure your natural infectious enthusiasm for life will get you rebounding to new heights. It is tough to sit on the sidelines when you so want to be out and doing what you love. Your comments about the rehersals reminds me of the way I was feeling a few years ago when I realized that age and wear and tear meant I could no longer play my way into shape, but needed to make fitness more a priority to continue my athletic career (such as it was). Keep smiling buddy and everything will work out fine. From what I saw of the Treasure Island set on the news, it looks fabulous and fun.

Hang in there man. I know exactly how you feel. I used to play county rec volleyball and was rather a fanatic about it. One game, I made the best stuff block of my life, only to have the guy who hit the ball come under the net wso I landed on his foot and severely turned my ankle. Tore the ligaments.

I spent the next 3 MONTHS on crutches having to watch from the sidelines.
