I have been blogging since Jan. 1, 2005. I heard about blogging on some TV show and figured I would give it a try. I really didn’t think I would keep doing it. After all, what does a fat, middle-aged, white guy have to say about anything? And if you’ve been here long, you know the answer to that question is, “Not much.”

But as I kept writing, things kept coming out. And now I have been going for quite a while. Of course, you can’t see that now. I have recently switched platforms and will be moving old posts over ASAP (read: very slowly).

I have been married for over ten wonderful years to someone who - as cliched as it sounds - is my best friend. Together we have four children. And when I stop to look around, I realize life is good. As long as I have her, my children, and stupid people to write about, life is good.
