What the hell?

I had to slap myself the other day.  Hard.

Posts here have been few and far between, and what has been posted has been lacking.  I think one problem is my blog simply lacks focus on a particular topic.  When it first began, it was the perfect place to vent my frustrations about the morons I would encounter while working at the airport.  I don't work there any more.  I have little to no frustrations with work now.  So, the stories I used to tell, the ones that people would always tell me they loved are gone.

As I thought about this, for one fleeting second a thought floated across my brain and it was horrific.  I almost wished I was back at the airport just for the stories.  My heart skipped a beat.  How could I possibly think something like that, even for a second?

"What the hell?" my head asked itself.  Yeah, I have conversations with myself.  Two voices going at it in my head.  One of them swears a lot.  Okay, they both do.  Does this mean I'm nuts?  Probably not, but wishing I was back at the airport just so my blog would be funny again doesn't help the argument.

"What the hell?" Voice One asked again.  Voice Two had no answer.  What could it say?  It was like standing on the precipice of the Grand Canyon and thinking for a split second what it would be like to jump... or push the old lady over.  How would she bounce?  I digress.

Both are crazy thoughts, though.  Crazy.  Returning to the Hell Hole just for some funny bits is crazy, right?  Of course, after reading this you are probably thinking, "Well, maybe it would be worth it."

Ho Hum

So here I am in the rehearsal hall, waiting for rehearsal which will start in about 15 minutes.  I am looking at my horribly-lacking-in-updates blog and thinking, I should really update this thing.  There is just one problem which you have probably already guessed.  I have nothing to say.

Absolutely nothing.

I almost find myself wishing for the Hell Hole just to get some good stories.  Then I remember why I named it the Hell Hole in the first place and I come to my senses.

I did just finally see Iron Man.  It was okay.  Parts of it were really cool and I thought Robert Downey Jr. was great.  Maybe it was the fact that I had heard such great things about it, but I was a little let down.  It was still good, but not as good as I wanted it to be.  Next up on the ole Netflix queue is Juno.  I'll try to keep my expectations low.

All in all, I'd rather be asleep.

Migration

Ok, so I finished moving a bunch of old posts over.  Yay!  However, if you look at the archives, you'll see that I am still missing the first year and a half of posts.  I am also missing November 2007 through March 2008. I know you are all holding your breath, so I will add those soon.  As soon as I figure out where I put them.

And for those of you who miss F.O.O., just look in the Work Pains category.  Plenty of Hell Hole goodness has been restored.

Changed Platforms and Address

Holy crap what is happening here? Well, I dumped Moveable Type and am trying out WordPress as my blogging platform.  We'll see how it goes.

Also, I set up Strude.com at my last blog change and then set up Tales of Strude on a sub-domain.  I decided just to use Strude.com and forget the sub-domain for now.  Strude.com was just sitting there getting lonely.

Tribute

"This is just a tribute." Tenacious D

I had an awesome idea for a blog. It was the most killer idea I have ever had. It occurred to me and I knew it was golden. It was going to be the best blog in the world. Then I forgot it.

So, this is just a tribute to that blog.
